(4) Ships sailing in fresh water
Ships sailing in freshwater areas, or ships that often travel between seawater ports and freshwater ports, and ships that generally spend no more than 4 days berthing in seawater ports, may not apply anti-fouling paint on the bottom of the ship.
(5) Maintenance of used ships
When the ship is docked, even if the paint film of the bottom paint is basically complete, the anti-fouling paint can not be directly painted on the old paint film. The sludge and salt of the paint film on the bottom of the ship should be washed with fresh water before the paint is painted. Then the marine attached organisms attached to the paint film, rust and loose old paint film should be shoveled away. The old anti-fouling paint film was closed with 615 chlorinated aluminum powder anti-rust paint and 616 anti-rust paint. Then paint 2-3 anti-fouling paints as needed. If the paint film of the undercoat has been damaged for the most part, white treatment shall be carried out to reapply the anti-rust paint on the undercoat and the anti-fouling paint on the undercoat according to the requirements of the new vessel.
